property division

Can anyone help ? To make a long story short, We have already been to settlement mediation and my wife wants everything. Her lawyer has convinced her that if she can prove I had an affair that she will get it all and I will have to pay her attorney fees. We live in Oklahoma and everything is paid off.The house, vehicles, boat, etc. We were married 35 years and our children are adults.

I doubt that she would get it all. What are the laws in Oklahoma (Community property? Equitable division?) In whose name is the property? Have you signed the settlement?
Who had an affair and who didn't doesn't seem to have a lot of bearing on who gets what. You were married a long time, I don't think they can leave you out in the cold.

Oklahoma is equitable division. I think her lawyer just wants to go to trial just to make more money. He's also told her that I will have to pay both atty. fees.By the way, thanks for the feedback.

Help...I am thinking of leaving my husband but after supporting him for almost 10years I want to make sure I get half of his trust fund that he will receive when he turns 36 (in 4 years)....if I file for divorce before he gets his trust fund will I still be entitled to half?
