visitation is denied father
|
|
My ex-wife has denied visitation to me twice in two weeks. My children are 13 and 14. Some people are telling me that they are teenagers and can do what they want. Should I pursue contempt of court proceedings or leave them alone?

"Should I pursue contempt of court proceedings or leave them alone?"
You've not given us enough information to answer this question.
If you had asked, ""Can I pursue contempt of court proceedings?"
Yes. at 14 a judge has the option to hear testomony from a child. Children can outright write their own ticket until they are 18.

Sorry I didn't get back to you. My ex denied visitation for three weekends because she said that the kids didn't want to visit because they are teenagers, and they can do what they want to.
She has a past history of this and also a diagnosis of Munchausen. DSS also indicated her for "threat of mental harm," which is tantamount to abuse.
