i have been married for 24 yr wife left 1 1/2 yrs ago tried to get her to go to counselor see refused here is my questions we buit the house 6 yrs ago its in her name only i have been living in it since she left and making all payments i told her last week that this marrage must be over since we dont talk anymore and ask her how she would like to split thing 1] give me the house 2] split eveything in half 401s retirements et,etc she would not agree on eather one i ask her for a third solution she did'nt have one were do i go from here

Typically you would end up splitting most things, including all the equity in the home. Do you have kids? Are your earning similar? Long term marriages sometimes have long term alimony. You need an attorney ASAP.

she makes double my income if the court splits everthing am i entitled to half her retirement as well as 401k i made her an offer to sign the house over to me and she keep her 401 & retirement or split everthing in half and she said it would be a cold day in hell berore she would sign the house over or i would get half her retirement or 401
