changing things

well, I can honestly say I slipped in my emotional status. My stbx came over questioning me about paperwork he was in need of and knew I could help him complete it. I told him no! I told him I now know he has been lieing about his living arrangements and the circumstances of him being w/o funds after he contributes a bit to the children's expenses. He tried to deny but, then he copped to the truth and continued to say " its none of my business since we're about to finalize our D. So , I TOLD HIM SINCE HE FEELS NONE OF IT IS MY BUSINESS HE SHOULD LEAVE AND FIND ANOTHER SOURCE OF HELP W/ HIS BUSINESS. He acted as if I hurt his feelings..standing there for about 2 minutes or so and then walked out after I held the door for him to exit! I felt better after releasing so much built up resentment for him disrupting our family and taking time away from the kids. I have been truly nice in day to day situations with him..I had just had enough. Especially since he seems to take everything that happens so lightly.

Good for you. He made his choice...now let him figure it out on his own.

Thanks..I really needed the happy thoughts. Maybe it shocked him enough to recognize the woman he was married to for 20 yrs..lived and learned and grew past his best expectation. Boy, I can't wait till I have those papers in my hand and can sigh a relief.. a new chapter of life has begun..
