changing response
I have been a stay at home dad for the last 2 years, my wife filed for divorce and asked to be custodial parent w/ joint custody. I agreed in my response to the court, but have since changed my mind. What do I need to do to ask for custdial evaluation, or change my original response. I do not have a lawyer.

File an amended response . The courts may/may not accept it .

Do you have cause for the change? The courts will review cause to justify acceptance of a change. i.e., has something specific happened that justifies the change in your response? Good for you going without a lawyer! Has it been difficult for you?
