How do I just let him go?

My husband just asked me for a divorce. Based on a huge lie I told him. I have no family, no friends here. I am lost. What is my first step to accepting my mistake and giving him a divorce. I am even contenplated suicde and know that is not the answer - just to many feelings hitting me at once. Please does anyone have any advice?

Please hang there. My wife is divorcing me for I do not know what. I still love her and want her to back. Please check around where you are for support groups a good one I would recommend is www.divorcecare.com. You may find one group just around you.

If I divorced my stbx for a lie, I would have divorced him almost every time he opened his mouth. There must be more going on and you should talk to him. People make mistakes. I don't know what you lied about but its hard to believe a lie would be the end.
Please hang in there. I know its rough right now, Im there too. It hurts like heck but I have faith that one day I will be happy again. post here for support. make some new friends. We are all here for you .
