Hi,
I am new here. I am in another stae other than Oregon where I live, on family business. My wife wants a divorce but cannot afford it on her own. I do not want a divorce. There has been no physical abuse, adultery and no children are involved. We do not own real estate and have no real assets.
I would prefer to have counseling instead of a divorce. She does not. What if she files anyway?

If she files, she files...not much you can do about it other than get an attorney or at least seek the advice of one.
