Who can reside with your minor children

My ex has custody of our kids. I pay child support. Recently I found out her boyfriend is moving in. Someone told me in RI this is not permitted. Does anyone know?

Why would you think it's not permitted ?

I was asking a legal question - you decide your own morals. Are you just here to write any old answer and try to keep this moribund forum alive? If so that really sucks. And its becoming obvious I've wasted my time here.

I'm not familier with RI law on this issue, but in most, it needed to be addressed in the divorce decree to be enforcible. Try freeadvice.com, which is 80% monitored by attorneys, if you want a quick, legal answer.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> you get to decide your own morals , not impose them on your exwife . To answer your question , yes , it is permissable . If you think I'm abusing you wait till you get an answer from freeadvice.com .
