Feeling alone

This is my very first time joining any online support group. I am sitting here hurting after one more day of lies. I have children and am a stay home mom. I have put up with my husband's lies for many years. I have reached my breaking point but am scared to file.

Re: Feeling alone

I know exactly how you feel. I don't deal with lies, just someone who can't talk to me about things that bother him...he goes to mom and dad first before talking to his wife about OUR issues. How can things be resolved if you don't talk to your spouse about issues you have with me?? We have 2 children as well...It's a scary thing to think about leaving....financially, emotionally. I'm sorry you are feeling this way!! But you are not alone.

Re: Feeling alone

Be smart about it. Get your ducks in a row first.

Do you have any skills/education?

You need to strategize like hell.

Good advice Sarah. Start developing a plan.

Re: Feeling alone

My husband completely caught me off guard when he announced he was leaving. I was a stay at home mom. Everyone is right-start planning now-and consider getting a lawyer-even if you just have an initial consultation. (You will know what you are facing) Bottom line is he will probably have to continue to support you in the manner to which you are accustomed.
