Divorce Support Forums: Same old, same old

Hello everyone, I started posting last year or in June of 05 about my daughter's situation. She lives in GA and filed for child support in 05, her son will be 2 this month and she is still having a problem collecting CS. Her ex was a truck driver (has a lawyer) he told the judge that coming to court was interfering with his job so he quit. Got a job and this week in court his lawyer informed the judge that he was fired from his recent job. He had been ordered to pay 986 that is for two children. He was supporting the daughter. Well, now there is no CSP coming in. How can he live with hisself. My daughter has been nothing but kind to him. She wants him to spend more time with the children. He can call them whenever, but do you think he do any of this. It seems as if the system is on his side. The judge told him he had a month to get a job so in the meantime how is she suppose to pay for everything. Why is the GA system taking so long to establish CS and enforce it? I hate to see her going through this so far from home. His sister comes to get the kids. When will this madness end? She has to move because she cannot afford to keep her apt. He lives with a woman they just brought a house.
