Child custody

My ex and I have joint custody, I'm the primary custodial parent. My ex lives in Arizona. My son has been living with his father for the past 2 years. Things have happened between them which led to my son's arrest, family dispute with assault. My ex flew my son back to Georgia and is living back with me.....My question is, My son at age 15, wants to visit his friends in AZ but not his dad. Does he have the right to say if he does or doesn't want to visit his dad? Can his dad do anything?

That depends on the circumstances of the arrest . Usually visitation would need to be continued until the child is 18 .
