One of our cars was awarded to my ex-husband, along with the title loan he took out on it. Both our names are on the title, but the loan company said it can't legally give me any info on the loan because my name isn't on that. We went to motor vehicle to get my name taken off of his title, but they said they can't do it unless the lein holder agrees, which they told me before the divorce they won't do. If they say I'm not on the loan and can't legally get info on it, and the court says the loan and the car are his, how can I get the loan company to take my name off the title?
