Ok so I am new to all this and have a couple questions hopefully some one can answer A little about my situation, I had a kid with my girlfriend 5 years a go and when we found out she was pregnant we became common law married, so my insurance would cover her. I do know that you still have to get a divorce from this, so I guess we are legally married, both of us want the best for our kid and agreed on not going through layers. Right now I am paying for all of my kids bills, {food on both sides, cloths, school supplies, insurance,} with the exception of half of day care-school. I have no problem with that, she is my kid and ill support her my house or hers ,{the x} But she is hinting she wants more, and I have a feeling that this is going to end up in court soon. So my question is on joint custody, haven't I done more then expected already?
