I am posting this for my brother. His divorce was recently finalized and even though he is in a 50/50 state the settlement was way beyond inequitable. Today, he found out how much he is having to pay in child support. This amount makes it impossible for him to afford to live. What resources are out there to help him?

Unfortunately none , because CS is not considered as a tax deduction , his entire income is used to determine eligibility for any social service programs . If he gets a second job , the CS he pays would increase as well . It's a no-win situation .
