So I go to my sexual/psychological evaluation today and the evaluator says he wants to talk to me about what my stbx has submitted as collabrative information. She has provided personal emails from my personal email account!
Last summer she got into my wallet and learned my email and [censored] and did the same thing. My lawyer at that time threated to have me report it and bring it to the judge. Her lawyer responded by saying my stbx would not engage in that anymore and would not use anything she learned in the case.
Well, apparently she got a hold of my email account and because she knows all of my personal information, name, dob, ssn, mother's maiden name, etc... they mailed her my [censored] two months ago or so.
What makes this so very troubling is that I use that account specifically for correspondance with my lawyer so all of my emails back then are saved there. So now my stbx has read all of my legal correspondance to my lawyer.
Additionally, I keep my passwords to my credit cards there and she has had access to them.
First time it happened my lawyer said there was caselaw supporting illegal access to email from a spouse. And there is an identify theft statute in Minnesota but it talks about using someone's email to commit a crime so I am not sure how that relates.
Get a new [censored] for all your accounts. For now, make it the same [censored], and DON'T WRITE IT DOWN!! Don't tell anyone. And, let your lawyer know right away, that all that has been discussed in emails has been comprimised
