I need some help, we were engaged, not married, but a really bad night went down. She asked me to leave because I was intoxicated, I was gathering my stuff to obligate her demands. She told me to hurry, and then grabbed my dog and dragged her to the door. I asked her to let go of my dog. She told me an elaborate and detailed lie about how she was cheating on me at work. I grabbed her by the arms and asked her to tell me the truth, now I am up for assault and battery charges. Based on that, what is your response.
