MY husband and I have been married for a year, 2 months after we got married my father got sick, I went up north to care for him. while I was up there hubby had an affair and got a woman pregnant. I stayed up north because wanted nothing to do with hubby after that. We are going thru divorce now. Am I eligable for spousal support? what about vehicles purchased after we married and all that. I just think it's wron that he's supporting her and not even helping my daughter or me.
You can expect no spousal support from a 2 year marriage. You will divide equally any property acquired during the marriage. Is your daughter also his daughter? If so he'll likely be ordered to pay you child support and you'll need to work out a custody agreement. If not, he has no obligation to help support your daughter.
