Heidi, don't you believe him for a second, I was in an abusive relationship once and the sooner you can sever, the better for you and your children! I know what love is and you will love again! But not this!! ALL threats should be taken seriously. Please, hold to that restraining order, don't even talk to him! Guys like this like to make us afraid and if show that we're not, they will leave you alone. Dear, I was dragged down the middle of the road by my hair and I really thought I was dead. He threatened too. Leave the state if you have too, do what ever you can, because a man who threatens will do it most of the time and you HAVE to think of your kids! Please don't make the same mistake I did!

....i have a restraining order against hm as he made4 some crazy threats and remarks a few weeks ago...now he is telling me he loves me and if he stopped se4eing the girlfriend would i take him back....i am still madly n love with him but i know i shouldnt b....im lost and any advise would help

Welcome and I hope you enjoy your membership. Please don't believe the advice of some bitter man-haters here. Remember, "Sticks and stones can break my bones, but words can never hurt me". Your husband is a man and, despite the beliefs and assertions of feminists, there are more differences between the sexes than the mere fact that "Women have periods and men don't".
You will eventually have to decide whether you want a man or a eunuch as well as whether you want to live a normal life for a woman or, eventually, to become an "old maid". As the last alternative you could be a lesbian. These are your choices in life, and neither male nature nor human nature is going to change, notwithstanding the good-sounding rhetoric to the contrary of neither feminists nor demagogic politicians!

Your advice is great! You left out collecting cats as an alternative. I have no idea your own situation but the comment on eunuchs and men is perfect, as well as the admonishment of knee jerk misandry among the sistas.
The differences make men happy...the differences make women want to change men...or as an old saw, he never wants her to change and she cannot wait until she can change him....these thoughts as they approach the alter.

TractorMom... Daybreak is an old timer. This post is more than a year old. Don't know how you found it, but thought I'd let you know, I think she's all through withthis stuff.
