How can I get him to pay for my attorney? I don't have the $$ to pay her the $1200 retainge. I have an appt. tomorrow with her. I have copied all the documents that I could find while he was gone to Vegas.
You'll have to do your best to scrape up the retainer . Once you do file , you can request your husband pay any reasonable attorney's fees . Your request may/may not be ordered but it never hurts to ask .

Also keep in mind that there are other attorneys... Just make sure you find one that you like and trust to fight (if necessary) for your best interests.
