Has anyone out there been able to lower their child support? Ex wife works now and sends my kid here more than the agreement. She lives in a cheaper place now, too.

Depends on the state. A significant change in the income of either party or change in parenting time arrangement is grounds for a modification in many states.

Time with the non-custodial parent is not a factor in calculating CS in your state. Her income plays a part, but, as it is in many states, CS is not weighted evenly. I did a comparison in a CS calculator for your state. I put your income at $5000 a month and hers at $100, and CS was $969. I then put in $5000/month for of each of you, and it only dropped to $780. I even tried your income at $5000/month, and hers at $50,000/month, and you still would pay $150.

my xwife remarried this past month, because my lawyer hasnt gotten back to me, Im stuck, still paying whats stated in the divorce documents- does anyone know if switching to a new lawyer means paying a full retainer fee? what should I do? I am keeping track of payouts, but I dont know if she is spending it, or holding on to it until its addressed via lawyers and court-

Why on earth would she hold onto child support? It's for the child.
BTW, her getting remarried has no effect on child support. And you aren't going to be able to lower it based on her remarriage.
Now, if you are paying alimony and there wasn't a clause in there that it ends upon remarriage, you need to go back to court. And if your attorney isn't getting back to you, find another one. And, yes, you will have to pay a retainer.
And you may not get back the alimony if that is what you are talking about.

Lowering Child Support,
I am Tabitha White, Author of: Child Support Federally Mandated. Sounds like you could use a free copy of my book. If you can not afford a new retainer fee for an attorney perhaps Legal Aid can be of some assistance.
If you are interested contact me at; ChildSupportFederallyMandated @hotmail.com with your state of residence, and I will send you the Legal Aid information for that state. If you do want a free copy of the book, all that I ask is that you give me your opinion of the book-a review. After that, if you feel the information is worthwhile and could be beneficial to others call your local Boarders Books or Barnes & Noble and ask them to carry the book at their location.
To answer your question Yes, I have talked with many, many parents who have been able to lower their support.
Respectfully, Tabitha White, Author, Child Support Federally Mandated ChildSupportFederallyMandated@hotmail.com
