what do i do now??? the divorce hasn't even gone to court and the lawyer wants more money. i can send 500.00 more and then thats it. i have no more. my question, what do i do after that???? any advice would help so much.

Most are willing to take payments after their retainer...have you asked if you could make payments? My attorney's bill never reflected that I could, but I would do a hundred here or there and it was never a problem.

I put it on a credit card, I know it was foolish but it was my only way out.

Another alternative is to borrow from your relatives first. If you think it's worth it, go for it, girl! Get it done and get over it!
