what do i do now??? the divorce hasn't even gone to court and the lawyer wants more money. i can send 500.00 more and then thats it. i have no more. my question, what do i do after that???? any advice would help so much.

Most are willing to take payments after their retainer...have you asked if you could make payments? My attorney's bill never reflected that I could, but I would do a hundred here or there and it was never a problem.

I put it on a credit card, I know it was foolish but it was my only way out.
