The worst part is I feel I have FAILED as a mother. My child now suffers dearly because of who I chose to marry.
Does anyone know of a site where single/divorced moms pool together and network?
I hear that moms network for child care and such things as discussing creative survival methods like two women doing a house share etc....
Heck, I have a very big home in an excellent school district in San Antonio...parents even lie about thier address in attempts to enroll thier kids in the area schools.
I know there are many moms willing to house share with someone other than a new mate for the sake of their child/children.
Just because our husbands let us down that does not necessarly mean we have to live is a crappy neighborhood, raise are kids in apartments or depend on another man to help get us out of the financial mess the first man got us into in the first place.
I keep hearing how single moms pool together for fincial reasons and for the sake of thier kids. They either purchase an upscale home together or one mom buys one and rents from the other so the kids can have a NORMAL stable life and attend the best schools.
Any 411 reguarding such a site or intrest in house sharing, let me know.
PS I already know about Co-Abode...it is simply not a productive site.
I just learned about this being a viable option within the last week. It might work well for me and my daughter. I have a 3100 sf house but travel for a week at a time with no particular schedule.
We've got something similer to that where I live. I know of 5 divorced guys, and none of them can afford to live after CS and alimony, who bought a very nice 5 bedroom house, and share 3 cars.
