Currently my husband is incarcerated for domestic abuse, having child [censored] on his computer and other things. Since he has been incarcerated I had a child with another man. It is obviously in my Childs best interest that my husband does not know about him considering the nature of his offenses.
While going through the "Petition w/ minor children form", the section "ACTS PROHIBITED BY STATUTE" #5 states "5. Concealing a minor child of the parties from the other party without the consent of the other party or an order of the court or Family Court Commissioner."
Can anyone help interpret this? I would like it think it means if I can manage to get approval by a Family Court Commissioner than I do not have to include the child in the paperwork or proceedings. Does this sound accurate?
I know I need a lawyer and should contact the apropriate county office for more info, but I am in the early stages here and would like to just throw this out there.
Any feedback on this particular question and general suggestions concerning my situation would be GREATYL appreciated.
WI law states that any child born during wedlock is considered to be the husband's child, so, at this time, your husband is the legal father to the child. Your need an attorney.
