Why is it that my husbands attouney is promising to provide an offer for the kids and I by the end of the week and on monday for the past 2 weeks i have called my attourney and she said they haven't gotten anything yet. Our second status hearing is Nov 19th and it looks like nothing is happening. I called yesterday and requested that my lawyer start working on papers about what I want and give them to him. Im sick of living with a estranged gay man in my basement who stayed out all night Sat with his boyfriend and lies to his family about me being an incompetant mother. He is off his rocker at this point and I am starting to suspect serious substance abuse. It seems when I tell the attourney about how miserable it is living like this they don't care. It all amounts to dollars and paperwork..no one is concerned for what my teenagers have been subject too. We had the cops here the other day on a prank phone call by some weirdo on the internet the other day and he showed up w/beer in hand like ....wheres the party?? He make me sick..i can't stand him and I am tired of putting up with this kind of abuse. I can't leave yet cuz i need papers to get a loan for housing for the 3 teenage boys. What do you suggest..Im getting frustrated! Please advise!! Im calling my lawyer again this morning and don't know what my options are....im a nurse not a lawyer for god sakes ..but this is rediculous!
