The Spousal Support Handbook The Spousal Support Handbook ($28.99)
Unlike child support, spousal support is often very difficult (if not impossible) to modify after the divorce is final, so getting it right the first time is a must!

Can anyone help?
I've been married 27yrs to find out he is gay. Haven't worked in many yrs because he wanted me to stay home. Can I get ss in Texas? Does anyone know if the court system cares if he is gay or does that make any difference. I have proof that he is. He wants to stay married cause he doesn't want our kids to know.

Unless a longer term is agreed to , spousal support is limited to 36 months except in extraordinary circumstances , such as disability .

Same happened to me! He told me it was a drunken mistake..I took him back and caught him again. NIGHTMARE! I have three teenage boys and live in OHIO. My first court appearance the judge never mentioned it and I don't think he read anything but the financial aspects of the case. He never mentioned it.
