Military Disability

I need help. I got hurt in Iraq and the Army gave me 20% Disability in one payment, now I am divorcing my wife and she wants 50% of that money. I'm living in Texas. Can she get that 50%? Hopefully not. If you have the answer please send it to victorroman67@msn.com Thanks

Military disability is not subect to distribution in the event of divorce , nor can it be included as income for spousal support . If a judge orderes the disability split ( not everyone knows ) , immediately appeal .
