Anyone familiar with jurisdictions when is boils down to divorce can help. I am a legal resident of FL, however, I bought a house in MD, which I declared that I lived in at least a year prior to filing for limited/absolute divorce. Because I did not have available witness at my limited/absolute divorce proceedings, the judge threw out the motion/petition for divorce. Now, I am stuck being that I am currently stationed abroad (overseas) and not sure where to file as far as jurisdictions are concerned because of my military status.

I would appreciate someone assistance in advising me on the matter.

Ava
