MY CHILD SUPPORT PAYMENTS WERE SUPPOSED TO DROP BY $25.00 A WEEK 9 YEARS AGO.I DID NOT REALIZE THIS UNTILL MY X HAD ME SERVED WITH PAPERS TO MODIFY SUPPORT AND HAD ATTACHED A COPY OF THE DEVORSE PAPERS.SHE LIVES IN FLORIDA I LIVE IN WISCONSIN.PLEASE HELP

If you contact the State of Florida Dispursement Unit, they can assist you. I overpaid $2K over 3 years and my child suppport deduction was reduced over 24 months to relieve the overpayment. Contact them with your case number, they should tell you that you have a credit balance, then ask them to assist you in reducing that credit balance. Whatever you do, do not stop paying monthly as your ex can have you arrested. When you pay, pay a reduced amount to offset the credit.
