Hello, well just a short setup of what is going on. My husband and I have been married for 22 years. This past July he decided he wanted out and moved out. Leaving me and our 9 year old alone. I have always been dependent on him, now I am trying it alone. We are making it but it is difficult. He doesn't want to try counseling or anything. He has had an affair in my house in my bed. Messed around on the pc ALOT and a few other things. I have always had a problem with money. I liked to spend. Which I know can alone cause a divorce.

Well, now he has handed me a parent plan to look over. He left in July 2007 and only gets his daughter 2 days a week and every other weekend. (that is his choice) Well, he picks her up Friday after school then brings her home around 2:pm Now in the plan he is saying 50/50 he wants her 5 days one week then 2 the next. That would be so hard on her and yes me to. Her school is only 1 minute from me. half hour from him. She just finally started doing well in school again since he left. She doesn't even want to do the 2 times a week sometimes. I think she would totally hate what he is wanting to do. For that matter I don't know how he would do it with his job.

Is there anywere to go to find information on custody issues?? I would prefer keeping it like it is now. More like 80/20 Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Theresa

Well, right now we are doing it to where he has her Monday and Wednesday and every other weekend. I still end up getting her after school until he gets off work, so he picks her up around 4:30-5:00. That has been working for me. And I guess him since he is the one who set up the plan.

Has he always been in the child's life 50/50? I've noticed my s2bx spends more time with our daughter since separation than before. I believe he is more after the home cooked meals, always shows up at dinner time. he! he! he!
