My wife and I had a marital settlement done. There was nothing to contest so it was pretty simple. The agreement was submitted to the judge yesterday. The 6 month waiting period will conclude in about 2 weeks, so everything should be final now.
I checked the case status online today. It said that the judgment was received, etc. But it also said that there will be another case management conference in March. Is it normal to have another case management conference after the divorce is done? I was ready to move on with my life at the end of this month, but to me this looks like there was a snag somewhere along the line and the divorce is being prolonged...Thanks for the help.
