STBX finds Pictures in my apartment

I have been out of my house since July. I recently moved into an apartment (1) month. My daughter and I went to visit family for a weekend. My STBX took my sons key to my apartment and decided to snoop around. She found some pictures of another lady and an email for ravioli. She has shared this with my kids. Two of the three not speaking to me now. She made copies of the pictures and put the originals back. What can I do. I told the lady about my STBX having the pictures and now she wants me to file a police report. I am afraid that if I do this and my stbx gets in trouble with the police my kids will never talk to me. What do you think?

Pictues,are they illicit, a friend, he said, she said , accusations........this sort of drama i think is pretty mute.

The pictures were professionally done partial nude. However since my stbx has given back the copies she made or so she says.
