I have been ordered to pay spousal support to my ex wife for two years. I have been paying for 13 months and I have recently discovered that she is cohabitating with a man. What do I need to do to be able to stop paying her and possibly retrieve any prior payments?

and possibly retrieve any prior payments?
>>>>>>>>>>>> You will not be able to recover prior payements . financial relief would , usually , only be granted from the date it's petitioned for .

The spousal support was ordered for 2 years after I had already paid her $1900 a month for 18 months. Part of the order for ss was that it would terminate if she would marry or cohabitate.
I have proof she is living at the same address as a man. A spousal support check was signed by her and also by him and I looked his name up in the white pages and his name came up as the same address as I have been sending her checks for the past 2 1/2 years.
