Well, that old saying seems true in this instance " be careful what you ask for" My x is living w/a very violent woman, she and he are constantly going at it physically. His friends comment to me and i have seen a bruise or 2 on him when he has taken time to see the kids. He and I were never in a physical altercation thru our 20 yrs of marriage, now he's catching it everyday of their life. She knew he had a wife and kids..and if he left it would mean CS and Alimony..so why fight w/ him when he doesn't have enough funds for what you and your kids (none of them are his)want to do. I sometimes feel sorry to see him in this pardicurement, but what goes around comes back around. He decided she was what he wanted instead of me, his kids, and our life together...so God bless him.
Thats what's happening in my case! About a year after my stbx and I split, he hooked up with this abusive, alcoholic, drug user who has a criminal record longer than my arm! She actually recieved 4 yrs for beating him up and not complying with her "Drinking, Driver Monitor Program". She served 3 mos. of those 4 yrs. then they moved to WV and I found out that she was arrested again for assaulting him again!!! Do you know how I found out? It made the papers!!! LOL! He was mentally abusive twds me and mentally and physically twds the kids and the kids have nothing to do with him. He also lost ALL Custody and visitation after Child Protective Services was called in! He gave her money from the refinance of our house and they bought a house in WV but put it only in her name!! He thought he could hide the money from me and now he's living in some apt. while she got the house!! Definately what comes around goes around!!!
The real kicker, is Her house in WV is mine too!!! It's marital property!
I wish you the best of luck and I pray for him to find his sanity again as I do for my own ex!!!
