Okay... We got married Sept 6, 2007. In October of 2007, less than a month later, we traded in my vehicle, a 2006 Nissan Pathfinder, (it was paid for), and his vehicle a 2005 Bonneville, he was upside down on.

I could NOT finance the new vehicle, so IT IS IN HIS NAME ONLY....

They gave me $19,999 trade in for my Pathfinder, and he was upside down $6,500 on his car.

Tahoe was 32,000. My trade in made the balance 12,000. His car added on, made it 18,500.

I was a housewife. So, I wasn't making any money when the trade was made, I only got child support from my ex.

Now that we are getting a divorce, he wants to sell the tahoe and split the difference. He gets to keep his truck, has sold the house (i got nothing on it), and I'm suppose to accept 1/2 the proceeds on a vehicle that I TRADED MINE THAT WAS PAID FOR in on???

Any insight???
