I was recently given papers from my ex. Not completed divorce. I tossed them in the trash. She filed for a dissolution of our marriage i think. she filed in coconino county. I am in Minnesota now. How can i find out about where i stand? I don't talk to my ex anymore. i am in the process of speaking to a arizona lawyer about it. I had hope that we could figure this out on our own. Any idea's out there ??
you might want to dig that paperwork out of the trash if you are going to see an attorney. They will want to see it and then decide what will happen next between you and the attorney. that is just my opinion and what I would do if I was you because it sounds as though you can't work it out between you if you don't talk and the stbx has already filed papers. If you do still want to work it out between you then I would suggest calling the stbx as well as getting legal advice.
