Hi to all,
Does anyone know what the normal wait time is for Divorce to be finalized when I filed it under husband having an affair? Any info would be helpful to get an idea. Thanks!

It can be a long process, a year, because if you have assets and children, everything needs to be settled financially first. It is usually a lawyer back and forth thing for months. I have been in the process for 6 months now and nothing has been accomplished yet. Just having an affair really isn't good enough for a quick divorce these days.

why does it matter if your husband was having an affair?
You can't jut divorce over that-it wont' work. Divorce is not a quick process and it takes time.
If you are going to hang on to the idea of his affair as to why you are filing- you have a long road ahead of you!
file and get on with your life!!
