I am not looking to benefit from ex's money... I am looking for ex's share to support his child. Age has very little to do with this... I was actually remarking that age doesn't equate to maturity. I do not mind son "enjoying" ex's money... as long as ex "enjoys" some of the responsibilities involved with Son. In my divorce I did not go for equity (10 years marriage... same house) in the home because ex would have had to sell... I did word the decree that IF ex were to sell son would get 1/2 selling price and if ex were to pass son gets house.... Not I, SON. So, ut... your estimation that I am looking to profit from my ex or get something for nothing is incorrect in my situation.
Don't want to sound rude and mean but that's what you get when you marry someone who is 22yrs older than you.
That's not a fair statement at all. I have much the same problem with my X 5 years later and there is only one year differance. she doesn't act anything like a 39 year old but more like a 14 year old I guess. Spent all day on the phone just tring to collect and straighten out the mess she has created on my accounts.
