Kind of along the lines of Pat's response, I kind of made the realization this weekend that I need to quit waiting for signs. I need to start sending out signs and I need to just take the bull by the horn (when it comes to dating and life) and go for what I want. I guess in this case, when I see a women sending out signals, taking initiative, etc., I find it totally sexy and attractive. I love women with confidence. I love initiative. I can't help but being sucked in by that kind of women but having been out of the dating scene for so long, I don't quite now how to respond or respond quickly enough if I do.

You know what? Just be yourself. And if you're with someone who you'd like to get to know better, ask if it would be OK if you called her sometime, since you'd like to get to know her better. When that little thought pops into your head, ASK! If she says no, you may never see her again anyway. If you don't ask, you probably won't see her again. So ASK!! And don't get really upset if she says no. Maybe she's not ready for a relationship. There could be all kinds of reasons. But, don't take it personally. Just keep on plugging on. There are lots of fish in the sea!!

Exactly. If I get shot down 9 times out of 10, well that one time is one time more than I would have gotten if I had done nothing.
