I want to get over my wife. I don't want to deal with my problems, I don't want to deal with the issues, I just want someone to show up at my house on occasion, wake up with me in the morning, grab some breakfast and leave. I hated an empty bed when I was married and I hate it even more now.

yeah.
im thinking im just about ready for rebound round 2 myself.
i had the fwb thing, but it's not as much fun as a rebound.
naahhh...i may just hold off until im ready for a semi real relationship.
...or not....decisions, decisions....
by the way m.
dont put to much stock in this rebound thing.
1. the person ends up just annoying you with their mere presences.
2. when they leave..you still are smacked in the face with the pain of your current reality.
BUT
on the flip side...
3. for some reason the sex in these senarios is exceptional...i wonder why....

I understand what you want, but burying your head in the sand and not dealing with the problems and the issues, will only delay your healing process.
You want to "get over your wife" but you don't want to do the work necessary to do that. Dealing with issue and problems isn't fun and it hard work. However, if you are going to heal emotionally and move forward with you life, you have to do that hard work.
I am sorry Mfergel, there just isn't any quick or easy fixes for what you are going through.

I have been thinking the exact same thing... I know that I am not ready for a relationship, but I want someone to take me out to dinner, bring me home, take me to bed for hours of sex, and then I want them to spend the night and just cuddle. I am tired of sleeping alone. I would not want them to be there in the morning- they wouldn't even have to leave a note- just disappear before the sun rises. Does this mean I am a bad person? It is so out of character for me, but I have been known to do some crazy things during this whole process...
