my husband filed for divorce in may of 06 he tried to say that i had abandon the marriage, which was a lie, i could not afford an attorney so i got the advice on which paperwork to filled out and submit to the court. I submitted my paperwork to the court to stop the divorce i contested it. Well anyway i found out in July of 07 that my husband has gotten a different attorney and went to another city in VA and filed another divorce on the grounds of abandonment, even though we have a divorce case pending in the city of VA beach. I do not know what to do i still cannot afford a lawyer and i need help badly, he also has taken items and furniture that belong to me before the marriage that was in my own apt.
