I am tired of my husband coming home drunk being a jerk and asking for a divorce. Tonight he called asked if I wanted to go have some drinks but we didn't have a sitter. He went anyway came home drunk said lets go outside to the pool and hang out. Then I said lets rinse out our daughters little pool (the dogs like to go in it) he then started to spray me with the hose it was fun and fine but like always he took it too far and turned into the jerk. I have no money or no family here, he does and he can get the money to take my daughter. I can't do this anymore I make 12.00 a hour as an activities assistant and he makes 18.84 with raises every 6 months. He is in the iron workers union. We have been married for 7 years I gave up and or lost everything because of him. I am in school full time also I just need some help I feel so alone and hurt. I don't understand. I don't deserve the way I am treated. I can not live on 12.00 but I have a really good job and I just don't know what to do he has the resources to fight me I don't have them. Does anyone know a good compassionate attorney who will help me and make sure I get what I need. I recently had cancer and had to have a hysterectomy but because my husband lost his job and couldn't get another one we did not have insurance and I had to apply for Medicaid which I got thank God but now that we are both working i am going to lose it and I need to make sure my daughter is taken care of. Any help PLEASE!! Can I make him pay my attorney? I don't even have the money to move out. I'm sorry I am new here and just so confused and not young anymore either. ;) Thanks any help I would greatly appreciate.
Have you spoken to your husband about not liking his behavior? Does he even know you're upset? Guys need to be told directly what's bothering you, and what you'd like to see change. They don't guess. Ask him to go to counseling with you. Sometimes, that's all it takes.
