Copy of divorce records

Hello.

I was divorced in 2005 in San Diego County. Does California issue a divorce certificate or other proof of divorce?

All I have is the copy of the notice of entry of judgement on form # FL-190.

I am in the process of immigrating to another country and they have requested a certificate of divorce but I am not sure if what I have is a certificate of divorce or if I need to request that from the court in San Diego.

There's no certificate of divorce. What you need is a copy of the signed order of dissolution by the judge.
