Divorce Support Forums: Child protective services in WI

Has anyone ever had any experience with CPS in WI? I had to call CPS on my ex for getting hands on with my 13year old son. This has happened more than once and this time he had marks all over his neck, face and chest. I have custody on paper and he has visitation. However, my DH is in the Navy and we were trasferred out of state. He retires in May 09 and we will all move back to WI. My ex and I had decided at the time, it was best to let the kids stay at their school and live with him until my DH retires. That is until all this has started. I filed the report, etc. What I am wondering now, is can I find out what is happening in the investigation? I know from the kids that they were talked to and they also have an investigator coming on June 6th to speak with their whole family. But CPS has not called and I don't know what has happened. Has anyone had any experience with this? Any advice would be helpful.
