I always found it interesting that the government forces you to take a written and driving test in order to legally drive, and is all in your business WRT divorce, but doesn't seem to care much when it comes to copulating, abortion, or marriage.

The reason for this is that in the case of driver's licenses, copulating or abortion there is no victim created who can be targeted as somehow liable to another, based upon some manufactured contractual obligation, with the consequent creation of opportunities for lawyers --although they sometimes try it in the case of copulation. In the case of the legal process of becoming married, the government is INVERSELY all in your business, in that they actually try to DIMINISH the apparent significance of this process and its probable future devastation of the man.
All you have to do to demystify the rationale behind this dichotomy is to "follow the money". Making it easy to get married for a man and very expensive for him to get a divorce serves the vile financial and other aspirations of politicians, lawyers, gold diggers and even lazy bureaucrats!

Exactly. With driving, there is a small chance you (and/or someone else) will get injured or even killed. With a divorce, there is no chance (directly, anyway).
Copulation - very good chance of conception. What is more important than life itself?
Abortion - no explanation as the end cause is death. Again, what is more important than life?
Marriage - a slew of legalities are introduced that - unless the person/people want to spend countless hours investigating on their own - lay dormant for the most part until divorce is introduced.
But as you say, they paramount hub in all of them is the money trail - common sense and constitutional rights be damned.

I would like to make it clear that I have been mentally evaluated on several occasions, at the insistence of others, and have been pronounced completely healthy each time.

The problem that most people have in this world is that they don't wish to be either completely emotional, or completely rational. They believe that they should behave and believe in some manner representing a mix of these two ways of looking at things, and to determine exactly what this mix should be, they look at the people around them. When their own views and behaviour are "right", and in accordance with those of their peers, they will be rewarded with acceptance and agreement.
The shame of all this is, of course. that looking at anything in other than a completely rational way always results in eventual disaster!

You need to go back and read my EXPOSES of why so much marriage and divorce law is not only irrational, but designed to sound good to fools who trust their first reactions and could not think their way out of a paper bag. In addition they (these laws) are outright CRAZY. You will have to search my posts to do this, as having found the intellectual elixer of life and eternal freedom by which ALL men can be emancipated from the twin slave-masters of their wives and the state, I am not going to force feed it to you, or even to throw it at your feet to be vaguely noticed and then reviled, as swine would briefly sniff at pearls and then revile them!
