Divorce Support Forums: ARGHHHHHHHH !!!!!!!

Wow, lots of heated discussion here.

Tiredofnagging, Malone and Jada are two of the nicest ladies on this board. I blame myself constantly for the destruction of my marriage, explained straight out instances where I fell short, yet they've always been there for me, accepting my appologies, telling me not to beat myself up over this, etc. There are A LOT of other ladies on this site that have done the same. Overall, this is a great group of people here. I've also had some people tell me like it is and to step up, be a man and quit living in self pity, etc. You'll find most often that people on this board are offering you advice, some with kid gloves and others as bluntly as possible. I reread Malones original post that initiated all the counter attacks and a lot of what she said made sense, especially;

When you say you want her to be part of the solution, you are not saying what the solution is that you are sitting down to explain to her. If you are continually sitting down to explain the problem, she will not want to hear it any longer if you don't also have some options.

I don't know enough about your wife to know how she reacts to things. What Malone said is similar to my original advice of if it doesn't work the first time, do something different. Maybe for your wife, explaining the problem in a different way is still the problem. Maybe she wants solutions. I don't know.

Remember, on a forum like this, words come across but tone doesn't. What you take one way may be completely different from what someone meant for it to be taken. I'm not going to condemn you or others but I will say that Malone and Jada don't deserve some of the biting responses. Please don't generalize such ill feelings toward them because they are women, etc. They are both great ladies who have reached out and offered a helping hand to numerous folks on this board and they were trying to do the same for you. I'm really sorry that you don't see them for the people they really are and please understand, I'm not attacking you either. I hope you can work things out with your wife and get the financials resolved but realize, you may never be able to so look at other options like just taking care of it yourself, hiring an accountant, etc.......but please, ease up on Malone, Jada and the other ladies on the board. They truly do have hearts of gold.
