support payed every month

Hi Im new here not sure if Im in the right place,But here goes Im getting 200.00 a mth child support.heres the problem,Im not workin anymore waiting for disabilty to kick in but on foodstamps and they want me to go to domstic relations so they get court ordered child support and spousel support.i know thats not alot a mth but ive never had any promlems getting this or anything my son needs if i ask but he now has 3 kids how will he support them and is there anything i can do not to cause this problem for him or I?My son will be 18 in oct.WE live in Pa Thank you

sorry, but as soon as the state supports you, you have given them the right to look at Child support as a way to get that money back.

If you're already getting child support, why do they want you to go back to court and get it?

I thought the only time it's mandatory collection on c/s is when the cp is collecting cash assistance or if both mother and children are on medicaid? Is PA different? Otherwise you should be able to request of letter to close your case. Welfare probably sent over a request to open the case but only as voluntary not mandatory. Are you on medicaid also?
