How to approach moving back home before divorce?

My wife and I moved to City A about 2 months ago and things were bad before we got here. Now, it is worse and I'm about to ask her for divorce. However, I want to make sure that when we do divorce/separate, we move back home to City B. Here are the details...

Children: 1, 2 years old
She is a stay at home mom but used to have a career in City B
I work full time and can get a job much easier back in City B than City A.

All of our friends live in City B and we know no one in City A. Thus, if we divorce, I'm assuming both of us are going to need a support network. She has said that she won't move back because it would remind her of me. Which I understand but being in City A completely alone would horrible for both of us.

What should I do? How can I ensure that we move back to City B? Do I have any rights since I'm the primary income?

Thanks for the reply. Would you suggest we move back to City B before anything happens then? I was told by my therapist that a mediator would help us decide what is best for the family.
