What kind of person (mom) would write me a four years ago saying she is changing doctors because she does not think I have a right to medical information. Takes my daughter to a psychologest because as she wrote "CPS recommended it" and then after I get custody she refuses to help pay for any of the theropy visits. Even the theropiest she used states in a letter our daughter needed help along with her current theropest and two doctors. What kind of person would say that I didn't pay for the visits she took her two when I have the returned checks? What kind of person would say that the costipation problem never happened before I got custoday when I have documents from ER's stating it was? Is she just a lier, mean, crazy or what?

Sorry. Sounds like she's nuts and vindictive.

Basically, there are no "rules" and all bets are off when you're dealing with a nut.

Your ex has serious mental issues. Unfortunately, your daughter is suffering because of it.

Jada I agree, but she has had two psychological evals that said she is fine. Are psychological evaluations just a waste of time and money or were they looking for the wrong thing?

They are a waste of time as people can usually pass them unless they are really bad.

My aunt used to be a foster mom. She's always been narcissistic. And has passed all psychological tests. Until she got older and more mentally unbalanced. She would never pass the test now (and didn't, that's how she got diagnosed as narcissistic). It just depends on how well they can play the system.

And your ex is very good at it. Enough to pass the tests.

Unfortunately, even with a diagnosis, there isn't much you can do. My uncle (my aunt's second ex) is mentally ill. Even been diagnosed. Been in the hospital for suicide attempts. He still got unsupervised visits. It's no longer an issue since the kids are adults now.

All you can do is be there for your daughter and help her the best you can. One day, her relationship with her mother will be up to her. There isn't a court that will force an adult to visit their parents. Or even talk to them.

My old lawer didn't think I had much of a chance getting sole custody unless I had a recomendation from the psychologest or doctor. My new lawer thinks I might be able to get sole decisions for medical based on the dumb letter her lawer wrote. My new lawer doesn't know about the old letters my X admits to changing doctors or the first theropiest recomendations. I'm wondering if with this old letters and on going problems if I can get sole custody and change the visits to suppervised. I'm going to ask today. I can't help but think what her new lawer must be thinking. How would a lawer put a case together to keep there client out of jail when there is so much proof that she owes money and is refusing to give the medical and psychological help that our daughter needs. Just the fact that she paid a lawer shows she has funds. What kind of mental problem is it?
