CityGirl,
So sorry about the "perfect lawnmower that only needed tuned that you disposed of only after herniating yourself".
However, now you have the "easy-pull start" so you can MOW RIGHT OVER stbx!!!
See, there IS karma!!!

Citygirl, You should get one with the keystart. With just a flick of the key you are on your merry way to creating havoc in the yard.

Well numbnms, I just consider them all life experiences. I just seem to have lots more of them than other people I know. And a long time ago I learned I could either cry about it or laugh. I don't like crying, so I learned to just laugh at myself, learn my lesson and go on my merry little way. But one thing is for sure, even my kids will tell you, life is never boring at my house!

Yes, key start is definitely the way to go. Your hair stays in place. You don't get nearly as sweaty. It's a much more pleasant experience. I went even further and got the self-propelled kind. I absolutely love it! And, when I engage the wheels even when I shouldn't, it aerates the lawn as a by-product. (well, it kind of tears up the lawn, but I call it aerating) Perfect!

You're right! There is karma! Right now though my weekend project is to figure out how to patch the swimming pool. You see, I bought this above ground 18' x 4' pool cause it gets really hot here, 100 to 105, and I thought it would be great to float around the pool and get tanned and let all my worries fizzle away. The pool holds about 5,500 gallons of water. It is an easyset pool, so I get it all set up and commenced to putting water in it. I guess I didn't realize how much water 5,500 gallons was, but I started the project in the morning....it is now night....I am outside on the patio having a drink talking on the phone to my dad when BOOM! I run in the house and tell my son I think someone shot at me! He runs outside and we look everywhere, can't figure out what the noise was and decide it was nothing. I hang up with my dad, have a few more drinks, then I hear it. Water trickling gurgling sounds.... you see, in my phone calling/having a few drinks stage, I had forgotten to check the water level in the pool and over filled the thing and it blew a hole in the side of it! (It really did sound like a gun shot). So, the moral of this story is, it takes a REALLY LONG TIME to fill up one of these pool and don't drink while you're doing it!

Ggirl, Mine is self propelled too and let me tell you the first time I used it I tore up half the lawn because I couldn't figure out why the wheels were throwing dirt up in my face every time I wanted to go backwards. Silly me, didn't know I was suppose to let go of the bar on the handle if I want to back it up. Instead the wheels kept whirring around. I have those nice big bike like wheels on my mower and let me tell you its not a pretty sight when you want to go one way and the mower wants to go another way. Nice little holes in my yard now.

I can never let this thread die.
Sometime soon, I will describe playing golf at Disney World about 10-12 years ago, main course, hole number 18, completely naked except for golf shoes and golf hat...and I won a huge bet...naked...(of course alcohol was involved...poor innocent visitors driving into Disney directly adjacent to hole number 18 that day!!!).

First there's this vicious PM you sent me that you've forgot to beg my pardon for......
Or, you could just come paint my kitchen instead.

HK,
Get a "Swiffer" to paint your kitchen. I have no idea what it is, but I hear it can be used for gutter-cleaning, window washing, and a multitude of things.
Don't know what it looks like, but hell...I'm thinkin' about datin' a "Swiffer". All I know is "boobaby" got me outta the gutter with one, disengaged it, and sure...it was painful...but maybe I just have not gotten to know "Swiffer" yet!!!
Is it a "Ronco Product"??? What does this "Swiffer" tool look like???
