Gotta keep this thread on "Page 1".
Too damn funny to let it slip to another page.
Can somebody PLEASE tell me WTF a "Swiffer" is??? It has become my new favorite tool, but I have no idea what it is.
boobaby, you have CLEARLY experienced the capabilities of this "Swiffer", with more applications coming. What is this thing?? A broom???

GUTTER UPDATE- ok, so today I noticed I missed a spot on the gutters and could see some leaves peeking over the top. Shoot, now I got to put my life at risk again. So out come the swiffer, mop and hose, but I decided against using the monstrous ladder for this little itty bitty spot so opted for the kitchen chair instead. I figured I could stretch enough to get that little spot clean (with my trusty swiffer of course) so I lug out the kitchen chair and place it under the gutter. Mind you, there is a flower garden under the gutter and a picture window. Chair is nicely secure in the dirt while I gather my tools ready to finish the task. As I step onto the chair it sinks about a foot into the dirt and flings me forward towards the picture window (no injuries, thank God)but I did get a good face squashing up against the window. Must have been a sight on the other side of the window looking out, seeing my face in pig nose style. At that point I threw my tools down, pulled the chair out of the dirt and cussed a few choice words. I will never clean gutters again!!! I need to remind myself to "step away from the gutters."
Rev, A swiffer is a mop/broom. It swivels which makes it the perfect little gutter tool.

One of my guy friends told me the thing that moves up in a toilet is called a ballcock. Is that true or is he just trying to get me to talk dirty?

BOTH!!!
It really is called that (or "ball and c0ck/c0ck and ball").
We, as the simpleton "males" of the world, are ALWAYS trying to get ladies to "talk dirty", so BOTH are true.

OH so I do have to go to the hardware store and say, "hey my ball and [censored] isn't going up all the way what should I do?".
Great.

No helmet, googles or mask for this task. That would have been a sight smushing up against the window with the mask and all. Yikes!!!
Go to walmart and look in the mop aisle for your multipurpose tool - the swiffer.

My personal opinion is you should refer to it as "toilet guts", "commode guts", "internal tank hardware" or ANYTHING but "my ball and c0ck isn't going up all the way".
Please accept my advice here...PLEASE...unless you want to watch a hardware store guy pee himself!!!!!!!

I'm debating it. Might be worth it to see what happens. ;)
It is not working (going up all the way) and I'm tired of lifting the lid every time I flush it.
